Topic: Optional Insurance & Cost
Our insurance is the best available.
The reason the optional insurance seems a bit expensive is we use private insurance which allows us to ship immediately and process any insurance claims within minutes, not months. We find it to be the best around.
This insurance also covers your disk for life! If your disk ever becomes damaged in any way, (even if your dog chews it up) we will send you a replacement free of charge. You only pay for the flat rate shipping and handling.
Be sure to print and keep your optional insurance number. (You will receive it with your shipping confirmation.) If in the event you require a replacement disk, you will need this number.

Topic: Why does the "Shipping and Handling" seem expensive?
We understand the frustration that some customers may have over the actual cost of shipping and handling from what they see on the delivered package. Please remember that this cost includes: Disk Envelope(s), Card Stock, Bubble Envelope, Shipping Label, Fragile Sticker, Caution Sticker, Shrink Wrap, Customs sticker (if applicable) and the time to: Prepare a shipping label, Packaging, Envelope stuffing and labelling, Customs forms (if applicable) weighing and applying postage, etc...
Our prices are averaged out for all orders, so everyone pays the same including Canada. Some pay a little more than what it should be and some pay a little less.
For example:
Disk Envelope - $ 0.60 Card Stock - $ 0.45 Bubble Envelope - $ 0.95 Shipping abel - $ 0.30 Fragile Sticker - $ 0.25 Caution Sticker - $ 0.30 Shrink Wrap - $ 0.45 Customs sticker (If applicable) - $ 0.30 Total - $3.60
Now we have the handling for:
Preparing a shipping label - 2 min. Packaging - 2 min. Envelope stuffing and labelling - 2 min. Customs forms - 1 min. 7 minutes in total based on $45.00 hr. (This is very conservative and our real rate is $65.00 / hr.) Total - $5.25
Material - $3.60 Handling - $5.25 Subtotal - $8.85
As you can see this leaves $1.15 for actual postage which in fact is: Courier to local postal depot - $ 1.00 Postage - $ 1.60 - $4.80
So as you can see even with the flat rate S&H we still loose.

Topic: Payment options available.
Our prefered method of payment is PayPal. If you do not wish to use PayPal, mailing us your payment is not a problem!
You can send either a INTERNATIONAL postal money order or a certified check. We don't have a problem with cash but one of the other options would be safer. (Sorry but we do not accept any personal checks.)
IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE! ALL MONEY ORDERS MUST BE INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS WITH NO EXCEPTIONS! Regular money orders will be returned which will cause a delay in your shipment.
Please be certain it is made payable to Dave Chambers in US Funds (if you are not sending cash.).
You would be surprised how often we receive a personal check or a payment to Online Software Sales which can not be cashed. (Kind of like us sending you a payment made payable to your eBay user name.)

Topic: What are product over-runs?
During the different steps of manufacturing, printing and packaging of products it is not uncommon to end up with an odd number of software disks to packaging. In some cases a product over-run may have some cosmetic imperfections that will not affect the software in any way but does not meet the high standards for retail packaging.
Product over-runs are the exact same software as the full retail version. The only difference is you will not receive the retail packaging or there may be a slight cosmetic imperfection.
All product over-runs include a serial number / activation code and registration card. The documentation is built into the software the same as the full retail version.
Product over-runs receive the exact same benefits as the full retail version!

Topic: Difference between items with the same description only A, B, C, 1, 2, 3, etc. at the end of the title
On some of our off-site listings you may notice a number or letter at the end of the listing title. These are all the same software packages. The alpha numeric character at the end of the listing description is only used for tracking inventory on our listings.

Software purchases through "online-software-sales" receive feedback through an automatic system.
If you leave a nice positive feedback for "online-software-sales" then you will automaticaly receive a nice positive feedback as well.
